Terms for using Oculus on Base.
Last updated: May 20, 2026
These terms govern your access to Oculus, a product that monitors Base wallets, evaluates spending guardrails, records verified incidents, and supports reserve-funded USDC reimbursements for autonomous agents.
Service scope
Oculus provides Base-native monitoring, policy tooling, alerting, claims support, dashboard access, and related APIs. Features may evolve over time, and some capabilities may be marked beta, preview, or coming soon.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the wallets, agents, and policies you connect to the service.
- You must maintain accurate configuration, destination lists, and funding reserves where required.
- You remain responsible for validating whether Oculus fits your legal, operational, and financial requirements.
- You must protect your credentials and promptly report unauthorized account access.
Wallet and policy data
By using the service, you authorize Oculus to process the wallet metadata, policy settings, transaction records, and incident evidence needed to operate the protection workflow on Base.
Claims and payouts
Reimbursement is not automatic for every event and may depend on product configuration, reserve funding, policy state, supporting evidence, and review outcome. Claim approval criteria may change as the product evolves.
No investment, custody, or legal advice
Oculus is an operational product, not a custodian, broker, investment adviser, or law firm. We do not guarantee transaction profitability, market outcomes, or regulatory compliance for your use case.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or retire parts of the service. We may also update these terms when product, legal, or operational requirements change. Continued use after updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oculus is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, trading losses, or interruption of business activity. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if needed to protect the platform, comply with law, address abuse, or manage operational risk.
