How Oculus handles workspace and Base monitoring data.
Last updated: May 20, 2026
Oculus is a Base-native monitoring and reimbursement product for autonomous agents. This page explains what information we process when you create a workspace, register Base wallets, receive alerts, and submit or review claims.
Information we collect
- Workspace account data such as email address, authentication records, and optional display name.
- Base wallet metadata that you connect or register, including labels, policy settings, and monitoring preferences.
- Onchain activity relevant to the protection workflow, such as transactions, approvals, transfers, and payout events on Base.
- Claim and reimbursement records, including evidence you submit and system-generated policy evaluations.
- Operational logs needed to keep the service reliable, secure, and supportable.
How we use information
- To provide wallet monitoring, alerting, claim verification, and payout operations.
- To evaluate Base transactions against your configured spending guardrails.
- To respond to support requests, investigate incidents, and improve product reliability.
- To protect the service from abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.
What we do not sell
We do not sell your personal information or Base wallet activity data. We use service providers where necessary to run the product, but we do not treat workspace data as an advertising asset.
Data sharing
We may share data with infrastructure vendors, analytics processors, storage providers, authentication providers, and communication services when needed to operate Oculus. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the integrity and security of the service.
Retention
We retain workspace records, monitoring data, and claim history for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain auditable incident trails, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention windows may differ by data category.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect Oculus data. No online service is completely risk-free, so you should also protect your account credentials and the wallets you connect.
Your choices
- You can update workspace information from your dashboard.
- You can remove wallets, change alert routing, and revise policy settings at any time.
- You can contact us to request deletion or export of data where applicable.
